Orange UK struggle for new sales

It has only been a matter of weeks since Orange UK introduced the £30 connection fee for all new customers to their network. But in that time staff working for the Orange Mobile Phone stores, have reported that sales have fallen by over fifty per cent.

There would appear to be a discrepancy between what the store staff is saying and what the management seem to be saying. This is that they have almost 1.14 million users which are up on the same time last year by around seven per cent.

Whatever the problem is, Orange UK still believe that they are in line with their competitors and they are bringing in new deals all of the time. But for some strange reason they have not been able to capitalise on services like mobile broadband in the way that other suppliers have. A lack of marketing strategy could be the reason.
